Rams Track & Field Land 4th in Conference Championships

noah stallworth earns titles in 100m and 200m dashes

EAST KENTWOOD – The Rams boys track & field team competed in the OK Red Conference Championships, Friday, May 10, and came home with a fourth-place finish. East Kentwood claimed the title with 192 points, Hudsonville claimed runner up with 140.5 and Grand Haven just nosed out Rockford for third with 99.5 points, with the Rams tallying 95. Caledonia 71.5, Grandville 40.5, and West Ottawa 17, rounded out the finishes.

The Rams had impressive finishes in the relays – claiming firsts in the 4x100 and 4x400, a second in the 4x200 and fifth in the 4x800. Noah Stallworth earned the titles in the 100m and 200m dashes and was part of the winning 4x100 and 4x400 relay teams. Jude Parks registered a PR in the 3200m run and earned fifth place, and Caiden Krueger notched a PR in the discus and claimed seventh. In the 400m dash, Bradley Rohen-Blanton registered a PR on his way to a third-place finish.

Jack Grimm 4:38.58; 3200m – 5. Jude Parks 10:00.26 (PR); 110m Hurdles – 3. Gage Martin 15.40, 4. Jacob Rademacher 15.41; 300m Hurdles – 3. Jacob Rademacher 41.78, 6. Gage Martin 43.70.

INDIVIDUAL RAM FIELD FINISHES: Shot Put – 7. Jacob Vega 42-00.25; Discus – 7. Caiden Krueger 120-08 (PR); Pole Vault – 6. Jacob Peck 12-06.00, 7. Aidan McNamara 12-00.00.

RELAYS: 4x100 – 1. Rockford Jackson Mosely, John Vanden Heuvel, Eli Haddad, Noah Stallworth 42.65; 4x200 – 2. Rockford Jackson Moseley, Eli Haddad, Jacob Rademacher, John Vanden Heuvel 1:33.30; 4x400 – 1. Rockford Bradley Ronen-Blanton, Jacob Rademacher, Noah Stallworth, Eli Haddad 3:25.65; 4x800 – 5. Rockford Jacob Majoor, Evan Veldkamp, Judah Gustafson, Lucas Patin 8:41.57.

The Rams now prepare for the MHSAA Regional competition, which will take place at Grand Haven, Friday, May 17.
