BROOKLYN, MICH. – The Rams boys cross country team traveled to Michigan International Speedway, Saturday, Nov. 2, and competed against the best in the state of Michigan for the MHSAA State Finals. It was the final leg of their 2019 season and the Rams did well, placing 18th out of 27 teams. The Rams had just come off a runner-up finish at the MHSAA Regionals. Ram junior Jude Parks paced the Rams, as he has done all season earning a 32nd-place finish, after claiming the Regional crown the week prior.
Parks led the team with a time of 16:06.5, earning 32nd out of 245 of the best runners in the state. He was followed by Ian Cook (118) who crossed the line at 16:47.2. Kyle Sweeney (135) clocked in with a time of 16:55.9, Jacob Brown (166) at 17:09.1, and Colin Graham (168) at 17:09.3 rounded out the top five Ram finishers. Ram sophomore Alex Fahey (172) and senior Jacob Major (187) added their talents to the Ram cause.
