MUSKEGON – The Rockford varsity girls basketball team had a big night in Muskegon, taking on Mona Shores on the hardcourt, Tuesday, Dec. 11. The Rams stuttered in the first quarter, but then dominated the game, earning a 41-29 victory. The win moves Rockford’s record to an impressive 3-0 on the year.

Setting the offensive pace for the Rams were, Syd Reinke, with 12 points, Anna Glynn, who tallied nine points, and Hannah Morgan, who drained six points.
“The girls won another battle on the road,” said head coach Bradley Wilson. “After a rough start, we held Mona Shores scoreless in the third quarter. Very proud of the way our girls are competing.
The Lady Rams will be tested on Friday night (Dec. 14) in a home contest when they take on a very tough Muskegon team. Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m., with the boys varsity team following.
