The boys soccer team tied West Ottawa 0-0 last Thursday, Oct. 4 in their only game of the week to stay in the hunt for their third ever OK Red Conference title. For the second straight game the Rams failed to score a goal, but also for the second straight game, they didn't concede one either. This sets up a dramatic last week of the season before the MHSAA District play offs start October 15.
On Monday, Oct. 8, the Rams travel to Grandville to play a team that they beat earlier in the season 6-0. If the Rams can pull out a road victory they will travel to Caledonia on Wednesday, Oct. 10, for the last regular game of the season, which would essentially be a conference championship game to decide the OK Red standings. The teams would enter the game with the Rams trailing the Fighting Scots by two points and with a victory would finish ahead by a point. A tie or loss and the Scots would win the conference.
